I. Police
1) Accreditation Hearing Update- Everything went well
2) Update/testing Material/Police Chief Selection- All testing is complete and interviews are August 17th
3) Budget 2009- 703 hours on the police investigation has inflated the expected OT budget
4) Homicide Update
5) Sale of cruisers- Vehicles will go to the Newtonsville Police Department who is starting a new department and desperate for help.
II. Finance
1) Bounced Check Fee- 6 bounced checks in the last month which is a significant increase over prior periods.
2) July Financials- Revenues up 200,000 over last year
3) 2007-2008 Audit- Almost complete and working through a few points in PO's and brokered CD's
III. Administration
1) Employee Contribution - 2010- HIRT committee report- Several proactive seminars on wellness and nutrition. Employees are becoming more involved in the process. See attached report.
